My Dry Skin Makes All Under Eye Makeup Look Terrible

Any advice appreciated. Generally my aesthetic preference is a "no makeup"/subtly skin perfected look.

I have an issue with any concealer/brightener/color corrector in my under eye area settling into and exaggerating fine lines/wrinkles and almost always drying in a very unflattering way. I have under eye hollows with a grayish-blue tint that I am trying to brighten/correct. I did not wear makeup growing up and have been trying to learn in my 30s with the under eye area being my main area of concern. I keep being told that eye prep is the answer but I've used various lotions and hydrating sunscreens and I never get a different result. I do use a retinol serum on my under eye area PM and don't want to give that up. I tried gently using The Ordinary's 10% lactic acid serum on my face and under eye area for a few months to help my skin be less dry but I didn't see noticeable improvements (and I moved to Australia so I don't want to use an AHA in the morning anymore because of the high UV here and already use tretinoin and retinol at night).

I don't remember if Haus labs or Rare Beauty ended with a very dry appearance but they did still exaggerate fine lines and all the other products made my under eyes look very dry. I've been happiest with the Sigma Beauty product when used in my inner corner and up onto part of my eyelid but even that I have to be careful with as it can make my eyelid look dry and wrinkly if I cover all of it. So far powder eyeshadows that are close to my skin tone seem to be fairly pleasing on my eyelid but I have to be careful as they don't all work well with my skin.

Anyhow, these are the under eye products I've used that didn't work for me (that I can remember):

Haus Labs concealer

Rare Beauty Positive Light

Nyx Bare with me concealer serum

Various Sheglam concealers/brighteners

Makeup Revolution Eye Bright Illuminating Under Eye Concealer Light

Makeup Revolution Eye Bright Under Eye Corrector Light to Medium

Sigma Beauty Spectrum Color-Correcting Duo

Wet n Wild Incognito Concealer

In other news, my skin also fairs poorly with most foundation products (settles into pores, gets super dry on my skin particularly in my T zone, or generally makes my skin look not like skin) but I've found that Maybelline dream BB Fresh in shade 100 Light actually looks good on me.
