Facial hair. What the crap is this.

I've had random thick hairs on my chin and neck (and a pretty good stache) since I was about 17 to 19. I pluck them out every couple days. They've definitely increased. I've been bleaching and waxing my upper lip since I was about 13. But not a major issue. Now, in this my 30th year, supposedly the prime of my life, I have now developed SUPER LONG FACIAL HAIR.

I had my hormones tested, they're normal. Actually a bit high thyroid and estrogen, but nothing worrisome. No sign of PCOS or high androgens or high testosterone.

No one in my immediate family has this, however I don't know my extended family well, so they might... I don't know how recent it is... because my apartment has terribly placed mirrors and I can't get close enough to see details. But I was in a changing room a while back with good lighting and wow. It's worse than I thought lol. Like my lower cheeks are now covered in fine but long light brown hair. And I don't mean that cute light covering of downy hairs you see on celebrity closeups in HD movies. In the sun, it's very noticeable and it's like a very fine light beard. I tried trimming with small scissors but then I could feel the blunt ends and that's not cool.

So I have been using a combination of wax and a spring roller to get it off... am I making it worse? I know that supposedly removing hair does not grow back thicker but some studies did show if you tweeze or wax, then your body sends out androgen rich blood to heal which could, in theory, make more and thicker growth... But that was not proven in humans yet or something.

From experience, does removing fuzz/downy hair this way cause thicker growth?
