Hi all, I joined this subreddit because I’m dealing with thinning lashes. I know that lashes and hair in general thins as we age, but what’s happening to me seems a bit extreme. I have always had very long, thick eyelashes, which I got from my mom. She’s in her 60s and still has very lush lashes, as does my sister. (We all got thunder thighs and short legs, just so you’re not picturing some portrait of female perfection here.) But in the last 3-6 months, my lashes have decreased in thickness and length by about 50%. It’s been kind of dramatic, so I’m curious if there is some medical cause, or if it’s related to products I’m using. I have been using the same eyeliner and concealer for the last three or four years, so I don’t think that’s it. The only change I’ve made is that I’ve started using this wet and wild eyelash primer along the lash line to keep my eyeliner in place. I’m pretty lazy about skin cares, so I’ve also slept with it on. Has anyone experienced something like this? Here’s a pic of the primer I’ve been using. Btw, I’m 42 y.o.
