Organic foundation for mature skin that actually performs, not just clean marketing

I have been burned so many times by the "clean beauty" promise when it comes to foundation. Gorgeous packaging, lovely values, and then the formula looks dry and powdery and emphasizes every line I have.

So I want to ask specifically about foundations that are genuinely organic or close to it and also perform well on mature skin. Coverage that doesn't cake, finish that doesn't look dusty, stays put for a reasonable amount of time. Does this exist?

I'm 52 and I've had good luck with some skincare brands that pivoted into makeup, worse luck with makeup brands trying to go clean. Curious what other people here have found.
