I feel like I’ve hit a weird stage where my skin isn’t doing anything dramatic, but it also doesn’t look as good as it used to.
It’s not acne, not one major problem, not some obvious crisis. It just feels like my face looks more tired, less fresh, and a little more “off” than it did a few years ago, even when I’m being pretty consistent.
That’s what’s been frustrating me. I can keep looking at skincare, but I’m starting to wonder whether the bigger difference for most people came from somewhere else entirely.
Stress, sleep, hormones, iron, diet, treatments, maybe even some of the supplement rabbit holes people go down. I’ve looked at things like collagen powders, glutathione stuff, GeneIII, and other antioxidant-type things, then closed all the tabs because I honestly couldn’t tell what was actually worth taking seriously.
For people here who genuinely felt like their skin started looking better again, what ended up mattering most in real life?
