Advice Request

Hello, looking for both makeup and skincare advice for my dry skin. 37.

Skincare: I have always had dry skin, I have tried so many moisturisers over the years and still have difficulties. I am currently using Clinique 72 hour mositure surge. I also have a SPF 50 face lotion and a generic Q10 day moisturiser. my skin in general is okay (no dry patches) if I use these and don't apply makeup. however I do have fine lines on my forehead and brow and around my eyes.

Makeup: Even with a small amount it dries my face out. I recently picked up Mac Radiance Serum which is meant to be very pretty light coverage and very moisturising. however it still sits in fine lines and generally I feel like it just ages me. Im not sure if it's a technique issue or wrong product but I am not sure what to do. I feel like if I try to wear any makeup that's basically more than a tinted moisturiser it looks worse. Same with lipstick it dries my lips and they are thin anyway, they just look worse, so I usually use a tinted balm. Id like to know how to wear a bit more makeup for occasions etc without making myself look older. Lastly eyeshadow, I have hooded eyes so eyeshadow placement can be tricky, any tips or advice appreciated.
