Do you track your makeup collection or just rely on memory?

How do you keep your makeup collection organized physically or digitally?

I’m 40+, and I’ve noticed my makeup habits have changed a lot over time. I care more now about shades that actually flatter me, textures that don’t settle into fine lines, and being able to recreate looks that worked instead of guessing every time.

I also realized I forget what I already own way too easily, especially with lipsticks, blushes, and similar nude or rosy tones.

For those of you who like to stay organized: do you use drawers, labels, photos, notes, spreadsheets, an app, or just memory and vibes?

I’d love to hear what actually works for you, what feels annoying to maintain, and whether things like shade notes, look steps, or color theory references are genuinely helpful.
